Stems are made of rattan reed which absorbs and delivers the scented oil to the flowers. *Reed and flower can take up to a week to begin significantly diffusing scent into the room. Length of time for the oil and scent to fully absorb and need refilled will depend on size, temperature, and humidity of the space.
